Dear Bruno:

Rec. your letter today. The bay had come the 7th. I am sending bay, lock and key back by insured post tonight. Save me all the stamps you get will you please. Just cut around well outside stamp so as to be sure not to cut it. I'd rather take them off the paper myself. Bunny brought me back some grand stamps. (a couple of hundred.) and I want to send Canadian stamps back to a collector in Holland who gave Bunny some of them. Fanny & he are in St. John I haven't heard how he got along. He had taken some welding in aero engines but mostly soldering and machine work such as making bolts

pieces out of new metal. riveting. He thinks if he got an advanced course in welding he would be a pretty good machinist right through. for anything. He might take mechanical drafting though. I am glad you are getting on well with that course. That must be very good. That D.M. is what you had asked for in Debert isn't it.
Anna is tying up the parcel and I am hurrying to get this written. There is not much to write.
I'll say we had & still have snow but that wasn't as bad as the water. There were a couple of soft days and no one could go without rubber boots. They say it is the worst ever known in town.

Well I must stop as time is getting short. Write
Love from all
Lovingly yours
Mother.
