Dear Bee. Received your letter yesterday. Everything is OK here although the weather seems cold and damp but the countryside is getting pretty all the time. You will have to come and see it for yourself when this is all finished. Well now all the wild flowers are in bloom. The broom tree is nice. It is a bush with a yellow blossom like a sweet pea. All the hills and the roadsides are all covered with it. The heather hills are getting purple. Well the big horse chestnuts are all in blossom now too. Well Bee, there is lots of deer here. Wild turkeys, pidgeons, partridges, pehasants. But the small birds are scarce here. The rabbits are awful plentiful. They are small grey ones. They eat them now. We did not get any yet.

He said he looks fine and likes it. Well who wouldn't like Scotland? Well I wrote you a few days ago telling you about my trip. Hope you got it. I was sea sick for a few days but the Atlantic is lovely. I just wish the boys could come some time and see it. They will have to save their pennies and come when this racket is over. Well how is the baby? What does Bobby and Tom say about her. You must send the snap of her and how did the group of the children come out? Send one to me. Say that was a terrible accident
