Dear Mother

Here I am again although its about four days since I have written you. I would have written before but there isn't any news so I put it off until today. The pies I got from you were spoiled from the heat but I did get the bathing trunks alright. The pies certainly looked swell, it was a shame they were spoiled. If you send any more be sure and send it by mail. It will get here a lot faster than by express. I haven't had any word from you for a week or so, except the Northern Light which I received yesterday.
I'm all finished with engines now for three weeks, during which time we are studying Magnetoes, carbureters and propeller assembly's
The work now is getting a lot easier as we go along. Every friday we have an assessment, we had three already and I had no trouble with any of them. In another three weeks time we will go out of doors and work on the planes themselves. Before we do go out

we will have an intermediate examination by the trade board which will give us our final examination six weeks later. This intermediate is supposed to be tougher than the final exam, which is an oral.
The weather is perfect up here now but it will only last for another month or so.
Oh yes I almost forgot to tell you that M. Hepburn's home is only about three hundred yards from the school. I haven't seen him but he lives here the year around. Its a big farm with a lot of big barns scattered over a square mile or two. His house is two storied, with about ten or fifteen rooms, but its nothing to brag about. Have you had any word from papa lately. Send me one of his late letters if you can.
I have to go to work now, but I will write again soon
As ever
Bunny.
