Dear Lucy -
Rec. your letter a few days ago & here I am trying to ans it. Was glad to hear from you & know that you are all well.
Was sorry to know that Uncle Pat had been to see me & I had moved. But at the time, I was only 15 miles from my former camp.
I just came back from leave a month ago, I went & spent four days with Clifford. Had a swell time, spent the rest of my time in London. Met a few fellows from to C.F.C. & they knew Uncle Pat. I get another leave shortly after New Yrs. & I may go to look him up.
The mail has been terribly slow coming this last couple. In this last convoy, I only got eleven letters & one parcel, all Minerva can talk about is Mervyn. Apparently she is the sweetest thing in N.B.
Tell Anna I wish her better

luck next time her "Dream Boat comes Home" (Hello)
Has Ade got any idea of when he is coming over seas, I wrote to him some time ago But never got any answer yet.
Things are very quiet over here now, not even an Air Raid for excitement. We are in the same place as we were last summer, staying in evacuation houses. Having a pretty good time, not working too hard.
Its raining out today. I'm on guard tonight. Tomorrow is pay day. So tomorrow night is My night to Howl!
Those snaps are good, say is Rogers wife from NewCastle?
Murry Cassidy claims he knows her & says her name is O'Toole. Is that right, I think he said he went to school with her.
Well Lucy news is getting
