Dear Mrs. Hennessey-
I'm hoping the address on envelope is the correct one, as this is a little message for Roger Hennessey's mother. We have recently received a letter of June 12th from my son Robert - and although he was away from No. 15 Company at that time taking some sort of special course - our letters had been forwarded to him from the Forestry Camp. He was pleased to know of

your son being in Yarmouth, and would not know until a later letter that the young men were only a short time at the airport here. He said "tell Roger his father is fine and well-liked by all and also tell him to keep that hand in trim, for he should be able to use it in the time he is now taking."
I thought you would like to know this message and to send it on to your son, as I do not know if he is at U.N.B. or Dalhousie for the training these summer weeks.
It was nice of him to look us up soon after he came to Yarmouth, and I regret very

losing out on a chance to entertain him. My telephone calls to the airport were evidently not delivered, as I learned there was no phone connection in the new barracks where evidently the young men, here for that short time, were located. Then I did write a note, but perhaps that was not in time for him to receive out there - as I had not realized the transfer was being made quite so soon.
Perhaps some day he will be down this way again - and so let us know, that we may make up a bit for this seeming neglect. With

best wishes to him and to your family in these days of worry for us all.
Sincerely,
