Letter Details

Date written: 1943-06-17
From: James Hennessy
To: Beatrice Hennessy
Address: St. Thomas, Ontario
Comments: James says it is hot in the area and he asks Anna to come up for a visit. Says he is close to Niagara Falls, four hours away. Says people have their hay in but it won't be good from what he saw. Said they grow mostly tobacco in rotation around here. Says he received a chocolate cake from Frances four days after it was mailed and it didn't spoil a bit. Is still waiting for his red trunks so he can go swimming. Asks if Sidney has fixed the motorcycle yet? Describes the course he is taking and says a group is leaving for Mount Joli and Moncton.
