Letter Details

Date written: 1943-01-24
From: Patrick Hennessy
To: Beatrice Hennessy
Address: Scotland
Comments: Says he is taking a 14 day furlough and will be visiting Manchester. Will try to find Mrs. Haggerty. Says he had lumbago and had to take some pills, tells her to ask Dr. Densmore, it might have something to do with the damp weather. Asks if she is getting his mail because he hasn't heard whether she received the money he sent. The paymaster wants to know. A five page letter talks about all the correspondence and packages he has received and the letters to and from the Frasers and Munroes and the Irish people he met in Ireland. Talks about Alleyne Hubbard, Lt. with 15 COY who sent to school with Sidney.
