Comments: William was here June 1 and we enclosed a picture of the new Lovat baby which we got from Lady Lovat for you. Wm was sent to Aldershot on June 11 to finish training in RHMC. He is now on way to Fort George to be a nursing orderly there. Dr. McKay died of heart trouble and buried in his native Plackton. Lord Lovat back from S. America yesterday. Talks of cost of food. Uncle Johnnie in Dingwall hospital, he and Alise were asking for you. Nana and auntie and family were there as were Cath and her lot came too. Maire was with Alise for the week. Maire working in new engineering place in Beauly as one of the firm. Maj. Sterling died and they sold the farm. Col. Mitford died. All the Canadian wives coming to Canada now, except Margaret McLaren, hear she is not going. Ian will be called up soon. Peter Pearce at Mrs. Morrison's. Mrs. Allen was on holiday and they were up seeing her. Lovely children. Sandra nearly took the place down wanting to stay with her granny. Peter working in Germany. Mrs. Grady is at Eskdale.
